Privacy Policy

Data de vigência: 1 de setembro de 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hundred Technologies, Inc., doing business as Shipline ("Shipline," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares personal information through our website at shipline.co, our web application, and the services we provide to freight forwarders (together, the "Services"). The Services are offered to businesses in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

1. Two Roles We Play

For our own business contacts, such as website visitors, people who sign up, and our customers' users, we decide how personal information is used. This policy describes that use.

For our customers, the freight forwarders who use Shipline, we process information on their behalf. When a forwarder uses Shipline to run its quoting site, answer its shippers, or manage its shipments, the personal information of its shippers, carriers, brokers, suppliers, and other contacts is controlled by that forwarder, and we process it only under the forwarder's instructions and our contract with them.

If you are a shipper or other contact of a forwarder and you interacted with that forwarder's quoting site, chat, or messages, the forwarder's own privacy policy governs how your information is used. Please contact the forwarder directly with requests. If you contact us, we will pass your request to them.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: name, work email, company name, job title, phone number.
  • Setup information: website address, rates, standard operating procedures, calendar connections, and other configuration.
  • Communications: messages, support requests, and call notes.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, actions taken, and dates and times of access.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8).

Information from public sources

  • When you give us a website address, we read the publicly available content on that site, such as company name, logo, services, lanes, and contact details, to build your quoting site and train your agent.

Information from third parties

  • Integrations you connect, such as transportation management, accounting, carrier, calendar, and messaging platforms.
  • Payment processors, which confirm payment status. We do not store full card numbers.

Customer Data processed for forwarders

  • Shipment records, bookings, quotes, and invoices.
  • Shipping documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs forms, which may contain names and contact details.
  • Messages exchanged between the agent and a forwarder's shippers and other contacts, through web chat, email, WhatsApp, or other channels.
  • Contact details of shippers, carriers, brokers, drayage providers, and suppliers.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including building quoting sites and running the agent;
  • process information with artificial intelligence to answer enquiries, generate quotes, extract data from documents, and send messages on a forwarder's behalf;
  • set up accounts, authenticate users, and send login links;
  • bill for the Services;
  • provide support and respond to requests;
  • secure the Services, and prevent fraud and misuse;
  • improve and develop our products, using de-identified and aggregated information where possible;
  • send product updates and marketing to business contacts, which you can opt out of at any time;
  • comply with law and enforce our agreements.

We process Customer Data only to provide the Services to the forwarder concerned and as that forwarder instructs.

4. Artificial Intelligence

The Services use AI models, including models from third-party providers, to process information. We require those providers to process information only to deliver the Services to us, and not to use it to train their own general models. We do not use one customer's Customer Data to train models made available to other customers in a way that identifies that customer or reveals its data.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers that help us run the Services, such as cloud hosting, AI model providers, payment processing, email delivery, messaging platforms, analytics, and customer support tools. They may use information only to provide services to us.
  • Forwarders, who receive the information of their own shippers and contacts through the Services.
  • Integrations you or a forwarder choose to connect.
  • Legal and safety, where required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or the Services.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
  • With consent, where you ask us to.

6. Retention

We keep account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. We keep Customer Data for as long as the forwarder's contract requires, then delete it within 90 days of termination, except where the law requires us to keep it or it remains in routine backups until overwritten.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and logging. No system is completely secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and authorities as the law requires.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the website is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Services work.

9. International Transfers

Shipline is based in the United States and processes information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where the law requires, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and similar jurisdictions.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal information; and to appeal a decision we make about your request.

  • U.S. state privacy laws, including those of Texas and California, may give you these rights. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
  • Canadian residents have rights under federal and provincial privacy laws, including PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, and may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial authority.
  • Mexican residents may exercise ARCO rights (access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition) under Mexico's federal data protection law.
  • Counterparties in the EEA or UK may also have the right to withdraw consent and to complain to a data protection authority.

To make a request, email privacy@shipline.co. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time the law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If your information is Customer Data controlled by a forwarder, we will refer your request to that forwarder.

To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email.

11. Children

The Services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or in the Services.
